All potential buyers must submit a nonrefundable deposit in order to move forward in the adoption process and receive a phone interview. This is due to the overwhelming interest in my litters. It also helps me weed out buyers that are not seriously committed to taking the next step.
I've outlined the amount due, buyer acknowledgements, buyer's right to transfer the deposit to another litter, and my refund policy for specific circumstances.
Take a moment to look over the information before submitting an application.
Buyer understands and agrees that the deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to if Buyer decides she/he does not want or is no longer able to take the puppy.
If Buyer is reserving a spot on the waitlist, the Buyer must put down a $300 deposit once their application is accepted.
Buyer further acknowledges and agrees that
(a.) The timing of litters is uncontrolled, as well as a successful pregnancy. Breeder is not able to control the timing of heat cycles or successful pregnancies
(b.) The deposit gives Buyer a spot on the reservation list but does not guarantee Buyer’s puppy of preference when it is Buyer’s turn to choose his/her puppy
(c.) Buyer understands that clients choose in the order of the reservation list and clients can choose any of the puppies available to them at their puppy selection timeframe. If Buyer is not reachable by phone during his/her puppy selection timeframe, then Buyer will forfeit their placement.
Buyer can skip a litter ONCE! If buyer chooses to skip buyer will have to place another deposit to be added again onto the list (will be subtracted from overall total).
If Buyer pays the deposit, then later decides she/he does not want the puppy for any reason, Breeder is not required to refund the deposit. If, however, Breeder is unable to provide Buyer with a puppy due to any unforeseen circumstances, Breeder will refund the deposit. Breeder also reserves the right to refuse or revoke any sale at any time to Buyer if Breeder does not believe Buyer would be in the best interest of the puppy. At that time, Breeder will refund the deposit.
